Our Mission

We envision a community where we all can come together to enjoy the space we call home. Through continued efforts to improve and sustain our community we are making this vision a reality for everyone in Mechanicsburg.

How To Get Involved With Our Initiatives

Volunteer With Us

Volunteering is a great way to contribute to our cause and efforts. Lend your time for events and other activities we provide annually.

Donate

As a non-profit, every donation helps keep us moving forward while also getting fed directly back into YOUR community.

Attend

You're invited to experience our fun and engaging events we hold every year. New events are always being created and simply attending is a great way to get involved.

Share

We are always looking for new businesses and events to get involved with. So, spread the word, send businesses our way or tell us about your upcoming event.

The Success of Renaissance Mechanicsburg

RENAISSANCE Mechanicsburg is the name of the project formed under the wing of the Downtown Mechanicsburg Partnership. It represents the culmination of many years of research and planning that began to take shape a full 60 years ago with the Borough’s first of three comprehensive studies.

We're proud to share that this initiative was a great success thanks to our donors and volunteers and the wonderful community support we received along the way.

We draw thousands each year from our annual foot traffic events. Through this effort we also launched a facade grant program, helping businesses improve the aesthetic of their storefronts. We distributed $3800 in Mechanicsburg money coupons. We hold 3-4 business mixers to support business owners. We distributed 100 open flags to businesses.

For more than 20 years, the Downtown Mechanicsburg Partnership has helped strengthen the heart of Mechanicsburg through community events, business support, and downtown revitalization. From annual events like the Art & Wine Walk, Mugs & Music Festival, and Community Day to beautification initiatives, façade improvement programs, and the restoration of Center Square, the Partnership works year-round to create a more active, attractive, and vibrant downtown for businesses, residents, and visitors.
